Performance of polystyrene foam board

 

Polystyrene foam board has good thermal insulation performance. The thermal conductivity of plastic polystyrene insulation board (XPS) is 0.028W/(m.k), which is far lower than other insulation materials. It has good thermal insulation performance, and at the same time has stable chemical structure, physical structure (to ensure the durability and stability of thermal insulation performance) and the linear expansion rate of the bottom. Polystyrene foam board is moisture-proof and air-tight. Extruded polystyrene insulation board (XPS) has a tight closed-cell structure. The polystyrene molecular structure itself does not absorb water, and there are no gaps on the front and back sides of the board. The moisture permeability coefficient is less than 2.0ng/(Pa.m.s), and the volumetric water absorption after soaking is less than 1.0%. Therefore, the water absorption rate is extremely low, and the moisture resistance and penetration resistance are excellent.
